Ditch B & Ditch B-1 Improvements Project for Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 2
Scope of Work for this project includes the excavation and disposal of soils associated with the widening and deepening of Ditch B and Ditch B-1. Additional work items include implementing new pilot channel systems, installation of reinforced concrete erosion protection, installation of back slope swale systems, adjustment of City of Sugar Land storm sewer outfalls, removal and engineered replacement of two golf cart bridges within Sweetwater Country Club, installation of a reinforced concrete drop structure to lower the flowline of Ditch B near the confluence with Ditch A, and utilizing excavated material to raise First Colony Levee Improvement District’s South Levee. This project is currently ongoing and is ahead of schedule.
